My college has a CSIS 107 class which is basically and introduction? to computers and programming (which we do often). After that class you can take CSIS 111 which is introduction to Programming. So on and so forth. So what i'm trying to say is that you should start at a basic computer class first then work your way up :D

Holy crap man MIT ...
Holy crap man MIT is FANCY compared to my college! Basically we are all in a warehouse with tiny classrooms and a projector. My four scripting classes consisted of teachers just having us copy code from them, then as a final have us make a full game. To give you a good understanding of? how much that sucked, I am homeschooling myself C++ to actually GET an education.
